Elliot Quest is an indie game about exploration and discovery. There's a wide open world to explore, side quests to complete, secret areas & hidden treasures to find, and boss monsters to defeat. The game combines the best elements of platformers and action-RPGs, and includes a leveling system and skill tree that allows players to customize their character's development.

The gameplay is easy to pick up but challenging to master.

Elliot Quest is the mix of all the classic old school games that made me the video game designer I am today.  It's heavily inspired by old classics such as Zelda II, which was one of my favorite titles on the NES.

I put my soul and savings into Elliot Quest, and I am very happy with the result.  I feel the size of the game world is right and the quality is acceptable.  Elliot Quest was a 2-year project where I worked full-time in collaboration with Danny Homan, who helped me write the story narrative, and Michael Chait, who composed the game's entire soundtrack.  I am so happy that this indie game was well-received by the greater action-adventure RPG community.

I am very nostalgic and miss the golden era of video games where players weren't hand-held by games saturated with tutorials and hints during gameplay. I want to create games that stimulate player's brains, and surprise with the unexpected. My goal is to create games that are fun to play by design, and not waste resources on unnecessary special effects or expensive graphic modelling. I believe that games should be simple and fun. My name is Luis Zuno, and I am a game designer that collaborates with others from all around the world. I'm interested in making more games with simple and beautiful art assets in the future!
