In the near future, androids have become the way of the norm. Emotionless husks of metal have become a part of human society, much to the dismay of the boy. The robot he found at the dump site though, this one was different. It laughed, it cried, it smiled, it has dreams, just like a human…

Lucy ~The eternity she wished for~ is a Visual Novel, about a boy and an android. You play as the boy, who faces decisions and moral dilemmas in this near-future world. This is a story that has touched many hearts and continues to have a strong impact on those who partake in this compelling journey.

The original version of Lucy ~The eternity she wished for~ received high praise for its powerfully moving storyline, following its original release in Korea, 2010. This prompted a kickstarter project which would fund a remake of the visual novel, including its localization to English and Japanese.

We as a team believe that the most important aspect of a visual novel is not simply pretty drawings or a great story, but the combination of both, in harmony to create a memorable experience which will last long after the game is completed.

Our main goal is to get expand the audience of our game to include both English and Japanese speakers into the experience. We truly want to create a strong impression and great experience that we’ve successfully delivered to the gamers who played the old version Lucy to a whole new audience.

Among visual novels, we definitely agree that Lucy has a distinct level of quality and polish. It has refined visuals, and the story takes creative ideas and applies them to a believable setting. All is perceived through your eyes as the main character. For those who like to be moved by an experience, it’s well worth playing to the end!

The visual novel is complete with unlockable content for the CG image gallery and some hidden, additional scenes. You can enjoy the story in English with voice acting in Japanese.
