When dropped, cats always fall on their feet, and buttered toast always falls buttered side down. But when a piece of buttered toast is attached to the back of a cat, a paradox is created, giving birth to a floating, perpetually spinning source of infinite energy!
In this game inspired by the famous buttered cat paradox that went viral on the internet, the protagonists of "cat" and "buttered toast" cooperate to escape from a labyrinth of stages filled with all sorts of puzzles.
In addition to over 140 main stages and over 60 optional stages, CATO: Buttered Cat also has a wide variety of hidden rooms, boss fights, and mini games. Collect cute costumes for your cat and toast, or even play co-op with a friend!

Explore 5 different themed worlds, where unique stage gimmicks await. From the toast's beloathed toaster to the cat's beloved butter spring toy, these gimmicks will greatly help you on your puzzle-solving journey.
As you progress through the stages, you'll unlock new mini games that you can play at any time. You could play them for a change of pace from the puzzle stages, but you might get addicted to the mini games instead!
What are the cat and toast looking for? Find out by exploring and looking for story fragments scattered around the stages.
Play offline co-op with two controllers! One player controls the cat, while the other controls the toast. You'll have to really cooperate and be in sync to beat the game in co-op, which offers a different flavor of fun from singleplayer.
