Major Update Ver. 2.0

Million Depth has received a major update that enhances its roguelike elements!

The meat of this update lies in the new Dimension Over Mode, a high-difficulty mode where you run through the α, β, and γ timelines all at once. Every time you clear a timeline, you can receive a bonus such as fully recovering your HP and battery before you jump into the next timeline. The true boss that awaits you at the end has even been strengthened especially for this new mode, so even veteran players may have a challenge.

Weapon crafting has also been enhanced, and new status up tiles will now appear randomly on your pallet. These tiles grant different buffs to whatever block is placed on it, so each playthrough will have different optimal weapon builds, offering an even more in-depth crafting system. Status up tiles have also been added to the demo, so you can try them out there too!

These updates will further enhance the game's roguelike experience by encouraging strategic decisions and playing your cards just right.

Furthermore, a new speedrunning mode, supervised by actual speedrunners of the game, has been added as well. Other than a timer, many skips and shortcuts have been optimized for speedrunning.

In addition to these new modes, we've also implemented game balance tweaks, story edits, Steam Deck and controller playability improvements, optimization, and various bug fixes.

Decollate Decoration Collab Bundle Out Now!

Decollate Decoration is a point-and-click, command-selection style adventure game featuring a girl who has become a ghost. The developer KANEKODO is also the main artist of Million Depth!

And so, the two titles are collaborating with a Steam bundle, where you can get both games featuring lovable female protagonists at a 10% discount.

Million Depth has a Steam demo you can check out right now!

The demo features the entirety of the α route, the first route out of three that form the story of the game. Not only can you try out the gameplay for yourself, but also experience branching storylines that change based on player input as well as a surprising story climax at the end. If you're curious, do try out the demo which has gotten very positive reviews on Steam!

■ On carrying over demo save data to the full game

Demo save data can be carried over to the full game, but certain features are unavailable in the demo.

Achievements for the α route, playable in the demo, will only be unlocked upon playing the route again in the full version. Moreover, while relics and blocks you unlocked with karma in the demo can be carried over and used in the full game as well, they will be shown as locked on the collection screen. They will be shown as unlocked upon obtaining the items again.

About the Game

A Deep Descent in Search of You

Moma sets off on a journey in search of her friend, who she believes is in the million-floors-deep underground world of Million Depth. However, what awaits is a constantly changing world. The true story behind Million Depth differs between timelines, and Moma's fate too changes with the world around her.

Moma's past decisions have consequences that ripple into the future and even other timelines in unimaginable ways. She will have to piece together fragmented clues from her journey to solve the many mysteries she comes across.

Freeze Time to Strategize

Moma has a "biotope jammer", an incredible device that stops time around her as long as she also stays motionless. It's her key to survival in Million Depth, where all sorts of dangerous creatures lurk in the shadows. Even if she finds herself surrounded by enemies, she can stop them in their tracks to figure out a way to break through.

However, Moma's weapons and shields only have limited durability. During battle, they deteriorate and eventually break. Until they're repaired, Moma becomes completely defenseless, but this is when the biotope jammer comes in clutch. Freeze time, carefully plan your next move, and ensure Moma's survival.

Get Creative with Weapon Crafting

Moma can equip two pieces of equipment, both hand-crafted by combining different types of blocks.

Some blocks can be upgraded by being placed with others of the same type. Use them wisely to craft any weapon, from long-range guns to sturdy shields.

Ultimately, your creativity is what will give you the upper hand.

Barter with Shopkeepers

Throughout Moma's journey, she will encounter several shopkeepers offering crafting blocks, items, and relics that can enhance her abilities.

However, shops in Million Depth don't take traditional payment. Barter with the shopkeepers while keeping a keen eye on the value of your offer and the shopkeepers' mood to get the best deal possible. If it goes well, they might offer you valuable items at bargain prices, but if you get too greedy, you risk upsetting the shopkeeper, who might hike the prices in response.

What's more, the underground world is also home to a strange resource called stockinum, the value of which fluctuates constantly...
