Our protagonist Yuuki lives in Spica Village, the Earth base that received energy capsules sent from the ruins on the moon.

One fateful night, he encounters Miiya, a mysterious girl who came in a spaceship that crash landed near his home.

In order to search for Yuuki's father, who left for space to investigate the truth behind humanity's demise, Yuuki and Miiya embark on an adventure of their own across the vast cosmos...!

Yuuki
A boy who waits at home for his father who set off for outer space. Wishes to go on a space adventure of his own someday. Loves machines and spends his days maintaining transmission equipment. The mech on his back is a device used to collect energy capsules.

Miiya
Meets Yuuki when she crash lands on the planet on an off-season snowy night. Cheerful and a little air-headed, she's always supportive of her friends. Some things can make her very upset very suddenly. A mysterious girl with many secrets.

Mukumuku
A precocious alien who's especially proud of her nicely-shaped body. Is always seen with Yuuki and often says she'll protect him. Has psychic powers and will save her friends in a pinch.

Ronaldo
A loyal butler robot and Miiya's caretaker. Always puts Miiya first no matter what he does. Can't turn down Miiya even if she makes unreasonable demands. Looks like a stickler for the rules, but when it comes to it, he can be very chivalrous. Speaks rather pompously.
