PLAYISM is proud to announce that The Star Named EOS, the narrative puzzle adventure game by Silver Lining Studios, will release for Windows and Mac (Steam, Epic Game Store, GOG, Humble Store), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S in Summer 2024. We are also excited to share the voice actresses who will be providing their voices for the game!
Silver Lining Studio is an indie game studio under Akatsuki Taiwan and the developers of the critically acclaimed Behind the Frame. Their upcoming title The Star Named EOS is a narrative puzzle adventure that will release in Summer 2024, for Windows and Mac (Steam, Epic Game Store, GOG, Humble Store), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S.
The game utilizes panorama technology to create beautiful environments and combines photography and puzzle solving for an immersive storytelling game experience. The story unfolds as you take photographs and solve puzzles, both elements interwoven in gameplay that encourages you to look closely at your beautiful surroundings. As the player, you'll recreate scenes from your past memories and snap photographs of them, unraveling the mystery surrounding the protagonist's family and finding a love that was long left unrealized.
We're excited to announce the voice actresses who helped us bring The Star Named EOS to life!
A Japanese voice actress with notable roles such as Madoka Kaname (Puella Magi Madoka Magica), Tanya Degurechaff (The Saga of Tanya the Evil), Sayaka Natori (Your Name), Futaba Sakura (Persona 5), and The Traveler/Lumine (Genshin Impact), among others.
An Asian-American voice actress with notable roles such as Makima (Chainsaw Man), Eula (Genshin Impact), and Yuffie (Final Fantasy VII Remake), among others.
A Taiwanese voice actress with various roles across media. From audio guide narrations for the Forbidden Palace in Beijing and the National Museum of Taiwan History to advertisement narrations for various household brands, her voice is a familiar one to the Taiwanese.

The Story of a Star
Play as Dei, a young photographer following the footsteps of his absent mother. Often away from home traveling, Dei could only imagine his mother’s daring adventures through the photos and letters she sent to him as a child.
After noticing something strange in one of the pictures she had left behind her, everything Dei had believed is challenged. Now, guided by a voice deep within him, it’s time that Dei sets out to find the truth of his mother’s absence and finally move on...
