PLAYISM is proud to announce that the narrative puzzle adventure game The Star Named EOS will be released on July 23, 2024 on all platforms, and preorders are now available.
We are also excited to share the theme song of the game for the first time.
The Star Named EOS is the newest title by Silver Lining Studio, an indie studio under Akatsuki Taiwan and the developers of Behind the Frame, and it will be released on July 23, 2024.
It will be available on Windows/Mac (Steam, Epic Game Store, GOG, Humble Store, etc.), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S.

The Star Named EOS inherits the detailed hand-drawn art and panoramic technology of Behind the Frame and combines them with photography and puzzle solving to create a new game experience. With more brain tickling puzzles than the last game, The Star Named EOS provides a new level of immersion that makes you feel like you're really there.
The theme song of The Star Named EOS is Sunset to Sunrise, produced by Bo-Xun Lin and sang by the Taiwanese singer aDAN (Dan Hsueh). aDAN's delicate, gentle voice will further accentuate the emotions of the game's story and enrich every playthrough.

The Star Named EOS is a brand new storytelling puzzle adventure game by Silver Lining Studio that utilizes panorama technology to create beautiful environments and combines photography and puzzle solving for an immersive storytelling game experience.
The story unfolds as you take photographs and solve puzzles, both elements interwoven in gameplay that encourages you to look closely at your beautiful surroundings. As the player, you'll recreate scenes from your past memories and snap photographs of them, unraveling the mystery surrounding the protagonist's family and finding a love that was long left unrealized.
The Story of a Star
Play as Dei, a young photographer following the footsteps of his absent mother. Often away from home traveling, Dei could only imagine his mother’s daring adventures through the photos and letters she sent to him as a child.
After noticing something strange in one of the pictures she had left behind her, everything Dei had believed is challenged. Now, guided by a voice deep within him, it’s time that Dei sets out to find the truth of his mother’s absence and finally move on...

A Taiwanese voice actress with various roles across media. From audio guide narrations for the Forbidden Palace in Beijing and the National Museum of Taiwan History to advertisement narrations for various household brands, her voice is a familiar one to the Taiwanese.
