Playism At Bitsummit Force

BitSummit: A Kyoto Indie Games Festival

BitSummit is coming up this weekend and the Playism team is getting ready for one great event.

This year marks the fourth BitSummit, and it is only getting better and bigger as the years go by. Last year we had a brief look at the history and talked about some of our favourite games and reflections of the event.

BitSummit Force has amazing talks lined up from key figures such as Koji Igarashi (Artplay), Atsushi Inaba (Platinum Games), Goichi Suda (Grasshopper Manufacture), Marc Flury (Drool) and Peter Curry (Dinosaur Polo Club). We'll also have some great music on stage from fan favourite Professor Sakamoto and Sound Shapes's own I Am Robot and Proud.

Make sure you check out the full information here.

BitSummit is also boasting a large number of exciting indie games.
This year Playism is taking over 5 different booths! So make sure you check out each one of them if you are attending.

NightCry

True horror lurks in the shadows.
Not even BitSummit is safe from the Scissorwalker. After a successful Kickstarter for the PC version, NightCry is bringing die-hard Clock Tower fans a brand new adventure to survive.
NightCry will have a playable build with some postcards on the booth up for grabs.

Read Only Memories

This exciting and futuristic cyberpunk adventure novel is bringing its flare to Japan. ROM always has an amazing and chill booth, so I can guarantee that you won’t be disappointed this year. The developers have also flown in for this event, so expect some great fun from them.
Read Only Memories will have a playable demo, as well as some goodies to grab on the booth.

Momodora: Reverie Under The Moonlight

The fourth in the Momodora series is displaying its charm and challenges to BitSummit this year with the whole Bombservice team!
Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight will have a build to play. We are also going to have a collection of the Momodora art on display with some adorable badges for you all.

The Silver Case

So much excitement is building around The Silver Case at the moment. This will be the first showing of the new HD remastered version as well as the first time the game will be shown in English!
The Silver Case booth will also have some limited edition stickers with a code to get a free download of a remix of an in-game track.

The Playism Booth

Our last booth is for Playism in general, but that doesn’t mean it’s the least interesting. This year we will be bringing a collection of our upcoming games as well as some exciting demos, freebies and the team to chat to.
Swing by to check out Memento, Witch-Bot Meglilo, EF-12, Starr Mazer: DSP and Branching Paths.

Make sure to let us know what you are most excited about and swing by to say hello if you are around!.
