Homura Hime, the 3D action indie game by Taiwanese studio Crimson Dusk, will showcase a playable demo during Steam Next Fest October 2025, running from October 14 to October 21. In addition, we are excited to reveal the Japanese voice cast for the game’s characters.
The demo features a specially selected stage that allows players to experience everything from the game’s core systems to an intense boss battle. Both the stage’s combat and platforming elements are being unveiled for the first time in this demo.
The demo will be available for a limited time only leading up to the game’s full release, so we encourage players to take this opportunity to check it out.
As a demo-exclusive feature, an online ranking “Boss Rush” mode has been implemented, be sure to give it a try and compete for the top spot.

The very first stage of the game is Adashino, a beautiful place surrounded by greenery but covered in graves and Jizo statues. Here, Homura Hime will have to traverse the terrain with all of the basic actions she’s learned. At the end of the stage, she will have to face the archdemon Agasa, who takes the form of a young girl, in a terrifying battle.
We are excited to announce that Japanese voiceovers will be implemented for the main characters in Homura Hime! While only a portion of the cast is being revealed at this time, we are pleased to introduce the talented voice actors bringing these characters to life.
The demo version also includes character voiceovers, so we invite you to experience their performances first hand!

As Homura Hime, players will purify Archdemons imprisoned by implacable emotions, discovering along the way the truth behind our protagonist as well as the Archdemons.
Use flashy combos while dodging and parrying enemy attacks, and learn new skills and combos for a more varied playstyle.
Crimson Dusk is a Taiwanese indie game studio that focuses on developing 3D action games. Lead developer Sam established the studio after Homura Hime - solo project - garnered significant attention in Taiwan.
